I had participated with this organization in 2004 and saw the positive impact it had with children from low-income families during the holiday's. So last year, I wanted to help by becoming a facilitator and starting my very own campaign at the office. I asked Family Giving Tree for 25 "ornaments". Each ornament had a child's first name, their age, and two things they wanted for Christmas. I put each of these ornaments on a tree in our office and asked my team to pick one and purchase a gift the child. By mid-December, we had 19 ornaments taken from the tree. I was super proud of my team for their contribution. With the help of my company, the remaining ornaments were taken and 6 more children were able to get gifts. I now have a commitment to this organization to participate every year and I couldn't be more grateful.
